A fresh start

Well, I've had a blog for years, but for the sake of easy access I've decided to create a new one with this site. So, here I am. We'll see how far it gets.

I can't really claim that I'll be posting anything profoundly insightful or even very interesting. Mostly I enjoy creative writing as a past-time, and posting what I write to a blog where there is a chance it might be read by someone other than myself inspires me to finish thoughts that would otherwise wander about aimlessly between my imagination and the paper. Or more, the computer.

I suppose the best way to get started would be to upload a few entries from my old blog. We're off!
